The first game in Fallout series is often overshadowed by its successor, Fallout 2. This is completely undeserved. Fallout 1 has defined the genre and Fallout 2 only followed in its footsteps. It features gloomier feel, more postapocalyptic atmosphere, and absolutely belongs on PIH.
The engine and gameplay are very similar in F1 and F2, and thus many articles will overlap.
